Kansas City Invention Convention

KCIC is a STEMIE (STEM + Invention + Entrepreneurship) competition and outreach program for students in grades 5-12 presented by the Linda Hall Library that provides educators with not only the free invention curriculum, activities, and lesson plans but also the opportunity to receive hands-on support from the KCIC team including in-classroom experiences and competition preparation, access to in-depth program orientation videos, transportation, and customizable group visits and presentations at the Linda Hall Library.

Educator Research Guides 

The Linda Hall Library supports innovative and creative teaching by providing educators access to curated guides include information about the Library’s unique collection and extensive holdings. These guides are organized by subject area, include high resolution images from the Library’s rare book collection and are a great supplement any current curriculum.
